The Court set June 30, 2010 as the deadline for the parties to complete all discovery. Before req uesting the Court's assistance regarding a discovery dispute, the parties must make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute with one another. If defendants intend to file a motion for summary judgment, defendants' counsel shall write to Judge Amon by 7/30/2010 to request permission to move and shall state the basis for the motion and propose a briefing schedule. Filing 16 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: On 10/13/2009, plaintiff filed an Amended Complaint and attached thereto an order to show cause for a preliminary injunction and a temporary restraining order seeking to enjoin defendants' use of his DNA sample that he alleges was obtained illegally. Here, plaintiff has not made the requisite showing for such relief; i.e., plaintiff has neither demonstrated a likelihood of success on the merits nor made a showing of irreparable harm.
