July 24, 2015	Filing 38 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: For the reasons set forth above, Pearson's motion to stay (Dkt. 29) is DENIED, his motion to further amend (Dkt. 35) is DENIED, and his Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus (Dkt. 1) is DENIED. Because Petitioner has n ot made a substantial showing of the denial of a constitutional right, no certificate of appealability shall issue. See 28 U.S.C. § 2253(c)(2). The court certifies pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a)(3) that any appeal from this order would not be taken in good faith and, therefore, in forma pauperis status is denied for the purpose of any appeal. See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 445-45 (1962). The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to enter judgment and close this case. So Ordered by Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis on 7/24/2015.
