The parties shall exchange their Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures and file a 26(f) Meeting Report by October 11, 2018. Parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court. Any request for an adjournment must be electronically filed with the Court at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled conference. Plaintiff shall file proof of service on defendant Wakefield & Associates. Plaintiff shall also serve a copy of this Order on Wakefield & Associates and file proof of service forthwith. August 8, 2018 Opinion or Order SCHEDULING ORDER: Defendant Trans Union removed this Fair Credit Reporting Act case from Queens County Supreme Court on August 2, 2018. ECF No. 1. Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1446(b)(2)(A), "[w]hen a civil action is removed solely under section 1441(a), all defendants who have been properly joined and served must join in or consent to the removal of the action." Trans Union represents that "to the best of [its] knowledge, the other named Defendants in this matter have not been served...." Notice of Removal, ECF No. 1. Nevertheless, the Court must verify that this case was properly removed. Accordingly, plaintiff's counsel shall file proof of service on all defendants with the Court by August 22, 2018. If all defendants were served before Trans Union removed this action, Trans Union shall have until August 29, 2018 to provide proof of service to the Court that all defendants consent to the removal of this action. Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 81(c)(2)(A), defendant Trans Union's answer is due August 17, 2018. Any party seeking a trial by jury shall file a jury demand by August 17, 2018. Fed. R.
