December 27, 2018 Minute Order for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo. Telephone Conference held on December 27, 2018. Attorneys Austin Hall, Bonni Jessica Perlin, Michael Joseph Castiglione, and Richard K. Hayes appeared on behalf of Plaintiff. Attorneys Justin James DeCamp, Robert J. Giuffra, Jr., and Jacob Croke appeared on behalf of Defendants. The parties were heard on Defendants' #16 Motion for Discovery. The parties reiterated the arguments set forth in their filings at #16 , #17 , and #18 . The Court deferred ruling on Defendants' request to serve subpoenas on non-parties until Defendants submit a letter containing: (1) a list of the individuals and entities upon which they intend to serve subpoenas; (2) a copy of the subpoenas that they intend to serve; and (3) a copy of the letters that Defendants will attach to the subpoenas indicating that the subpoenas are for preservation purposes with compliance deferred until a later date. Defendants should not file duplicate copies of subpoenas containing the same wording. The Court directed the parties to begin their Rule 26(f) conferences no later than January 11, 2019 and to continue meeting until all required matters have been addressed.
