ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. Plaintiff is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE by 2/18/2019 why this case should not be dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The citizenship of a limited liability company is not its principle place of business. It is the citizenship of each of its members. See Bayerische Landesbank, New York Branch v. Aladdin Capital Management LLC, 692 F.3d 42, 49 (2d Cir. 2012). To invoke this Court's diversity jurisdiction, plaintiff must name each member of both the plaintiff and defendant LLCs and plead the facts showing each member's citizenship.
