ORDER: The Court held a telephone conference in plaintiff's personal injury action on June 13, 2019. The Court declined to set discovery deadlines at this time and urged the parties to discuss settlement. The Court shall hold a status conference on August 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom 11A South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. The parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court. Any request for an adjournment must be electronically filed with the Court at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled conference. Ordered by Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom on 6/14/2019. ORDER: The Court held an initial conference in plaintiff's personal injury action on May 15, 2019. The Court declined to set discovery deadlines at this time and urged the parties to discuss settlement. The Court shall hold a telephone conference on June 13, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Plaintiff's counsel is requested to arrange and initiate the conference call. After establishing contact with defendants' counsel, plaintiff's counsel shall call the Court at (718) 613-2170. The parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court. ORDER: Defendants' counsel removed this diversity personal injury action from Queens County Supreme Court on April 4, 2019. ECF No. 1. The Court shall hold the initial conference on May 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Courtroom 11A South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. The parties shall exchange their Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures and file a 26(f) Meeting Report by May 8, 2019. As this is a personal injury case, plaintiff shall provide executed HIPAA releases to defendants' counsel for all medical and/or mental health treatment related to this accident by May 1, 2019. Parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court.
