ORDER: The Court held the initial conference in this personal injury action on June 18, 2019. As discussed on the record, the Court declines to set discovery deadlines at this time to afford the parties additional time to obtain medical records and other information related to plaintiff's claims. Plaintiff shall provide to defendant's counsel any outstanding medical release forms by June 21, 2019. Plaintiff shall serve on defendant his Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures by June 28, 2019. The parties shall file a status letter and a revised, joint Rule 26(f) meeting report by August 13, 2019. The Court shall hold a status conference in this case on August 20, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., in Courtroom 11A South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. The parties are advised that they must contact each other before making any request for an adjournment to the Court. Any request for an adjournment must be electronically filed with the Court at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled conference. ORDER: As set forth in the attached Order, defendant's counsel removed this federal question personal injury action from Queens County Supreme Court on May 6, 2019. ECF No. 1.The Court shall hold the initial conference on June 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom 11A South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. The parties shall exchange their Rule 26(a)(1) initial disclosures and file a 26(f) Meeting Report by June 11, 2019. As this is a personal injury case, plaintiff shall also execute releases for all medical and/or mental health treatment related to this accident by June 11, 2019. Plaintiff's counsel shall immediately register with ECF for mandatory electronic filing and case notifications.
