Minute Entry And Order for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Sanket J. Bulsara: An in person initial conference hearing was called on 1/31/2020. Counsel Alex W. Nocerino appeared on behalf of the plaintiff; Andre J. Major appeared on behalf of the defendants. As discussed on the record the various amended complaints that were filed on the docket [Nos. 8, 9 and 11] were filed without first seeking leave of court, as required by Rule 15. They are therefore stricken from the Docket. To the extent Plaintiff wishes to file an Amended Complaint, he must file a motion and do so by 2/7/2020. That motion must explain the specific causes of action being alleged against any new Defendant and the basis for asserting federal supplemental jurisdiction over these new defendants and claims. To the extent Plaintiff is permitted to file an amended complaint, it must obtain a summons from the Clerk of Court, and serve the newly added parties so the Court can then schedule an initial conference. So Ordered by Magistrate Judge Sanket J. Bulsara on 1/31/2020. (FTR Log #3:17-3:31.) (Manson, Eddie) |
