Filing 9 CASE REFERRED to Arbitration. Case Referred to Arbitration. Instructions and Arbitration Procedure sent to Counsel and Pro se Litigants. This case has been designated to participate in the Court Annexed Arbitration Program pursuant to Local Civil Rule 83.7(d) wherein money damages only are being sought in an amount not in excess of $150,000.00 exclusive of interest and costs. Damages are presumed not to be in excess of the arbitration limit unless a certification is filed in accordance with Local Civil Rule 83.7(d) (3). After an Answer is filed, an Arbitration Hearing will be scheduled. The hearing will be scheduled to occur approximately 120 days after filing of the Answer. Counsel have 120 days to complete discovery unless the magistrate judge orders a shorter or longer period for discovery (Credle, Rita) |
Filing 8 SCHEDULING ORDER: An Initial Conference will be held in this case on January 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. before Peggy Kuo, United States Magistrate Judge, in Courtroom 11C South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. All counsel are required to attend. Counsel are directed to the annexed Initial Conference Order for instructions.
