ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. Defendants are ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE by 4/28/2020 why this action should not be remanded to state court as improperly removed. The Notice of Removal alleges that defendant Grant is "domiciled" in New York. Assuming that by "domiciled" defendants mean Grant is a "citizen" of New York, which is the only way diversity jurisdiction could exist, removal of this action appears prohibited by the local defendant rule in 28 U.S.C. 1441(b)(2).
