ORDER re: #14 . The request for "an adjournment of outstanding deadlines" pending mediation is denied. The Court has entered a discovery plan and any party missing deadlines will find that it has waived the requested discovery or is subject to sanctions for not producing it. In addition, if the parties still want to mediate with that understanding, they need to tell the Court what they mean by "mediation" as there are numerous mechanisms. Of course, they can always proceed to mediation privately without court order but whether through court-ordered mediation or private mediation, the discovery schedule will be strictly enforced. Finally, counsel is advised that any letter filed in this action must include in the ECF entry line a brief description of the subject matter of the letter, e.g., "Letter re: parties have agreed to mediation" not simply "Letter", so that the docket remains intelligible.
