Minute Entry for Telephonic Initial Conference held before Magistrate Judge James R. Cho on 8/19/2021: Cynthia Attard appeared for plaintiff; Beverly Barr appeared for defendants. The Court entered the following pretrial schedule: parties to exchange automatic disclosures by 9/10/2021; no joinder of parties permitted after 12/31/2021; no amendment of the pleadings permitted after 2/11/2022; parties to complete fact discovery by 1/31/2022; affirmative expert disclosures due 3/1/2022; rebuttal expert disclosures due 4/1/2022; and all discovery, including expert depositions, shall be completed by 5/18/2022. Parties expressed an interest in an early settlement conference after the exchange of medical records. This case is referred to Court-annexed mediation. Parties to select a mediator by 9/20/2021, and complete mediation by 10/29/2021.
