Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto: Status Conference held on 7/29/2021. Appearances: Matthew Kory Finkelstein on behalf of All Defendants. Pamela Roth, Esq., who shall file her Notice of Appearance no later than today, July 29, 2021, appearing instead of David M. Harrison for Plaintiff. The court discussed Plaintiff's anticipated motion to remand. Plaintiff's counsel is ordered to file a letter, on or before August 5, 2021, with the court via ECF as to whether Plaintiff intends to proceed with the motion to remand and/or the present litigation, including whether Plaintiff intends to proceed with the litigation against the corporate parties (United States Fire Insurance Company, Crum & Forster Holdings Corp., Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, and Cottingham & Butler Claims Services) against which Plaintiff asserted no-fault claims. If Plaintiff intends to continue to motion practice, the motion schedule for the motion to remand will be as follows: Plaintiff shall serve on Defendants his motion to remand on or before August 20, 2021. Defendants shall have until September 20, 2021, to serve opposition. Plaintiffs shall serve a reply, if any on or before September 27, 2021.
