April 4, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 93 ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Plaintiffs' letter response #92 to the Court's 3/18/2022 Order, as well as the parties' proposed interim protective order (see ECF No. 92-1). In light of Plaintiffs' counsel's representation that Plaintiffs John Does 12 and Jane Does 13 "are the only identifiable plaintiffs" presently in this action (ECF No. #92 at 1), the Clerk of Court is directed to terminate Jack Does 1-750 and Joan Does 1-750 as parties, without prejudice. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 21. If any of the potential plaintiffs represented by these "placeholder names" retain Plaintiffs' counsel and/or seek to join in this action, they may seek to join, and, if necessary, to proceed under pseudonyms, by appropriate motion at that time, consistent with the procedures outlined in the interim protective order (see attached). Schmid filed a motion for admission pro hac vice, along with an accompanying affidavit, in which he represented that he had requested a certificate of good standing from the Commonwealth of Virginia and would provide it expeditiously to the Court. (See ECF No. 21-1.) The Court took Mr. Schmid's motion under advisement on September 16, 2021, indicating that the Court would rule on the motion upon his provision of a certificate of good standing.
