Filing 12 CONSENT to Jurisdiction by US Magistrate Judge by Jakub Koc. (Jean-Jacques, Michelle) |
Minute Entry and Order for Initial Status Conference held on 01/26/2022 before Judge Brian M. Cogan. Both parties appeared telephonically. The Court explained the procedure that defendant must use to obtain medical records. In addition, the parties are to exchange Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures by 02/02/2022; serve interrogatories and written discovery requests by 02/16/2022; respond to interrogatories and produce discovery by 03/04/2022; and complete depositions by 04/26/2022, the date fact discovery ends. At the conference, the Court was advised that Attorney Bloom would not be appearing further on behalf of plaintiff in the case because he was just covering the conference for his colleague Attorney Jean-Jacques. This Court's Scheduling Order, however, stated that "Principal trial counsel must appear at this and all subsequent conferences." Attorney Bloom is therefore directed to advise Attorney Jean-Jacques of all the obligations that the Court explained to the parties during the conference. (Weisberg, Peggy) |
