ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE and Electronic Service upon the US Attorneys Office re #1 Complaint filed by Pingfei Zhang -- Upon the complaint for writ of mandamus filed May 23, 2022, it is ORDERED that: The United States Attorney, as attorney for Respondents, is directed to show cause on or before July 6, 2022, in writing, why a writ of mandamus should not issue, and shall serve a copy of the response on Plaintiff, with proof of service to the Clerk of Court; On or before August 5, 2022, Plaintiff shall file their reply, if any, with proof of service to the Clerk of Court; Upon review of Plaintiff application to proceed in forma pauperis pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a), the Court hereby GRANTS Plaintiff in forma pauperis status for the purpose of this action; Service of a copy of this Order, together with a copy of the complaint, shall be made by the Clerk of Court via electronic case filing, to the United States Attorney and by mailing a copy of this Order to the plaintiff.
