January 4, 2023 Opinion or Order ORDER: The Court grants Plaintiff's motion for an extension of time. See ECF No. #6 . The parties shall file on or before March 6, 2023, the joint letter and case management plan required by the Court's scheduling order. See ECF No. #5 . Since Plaintiff sent Defendant a request for waiver of service more than 30 days ago, which Rule 4(d)(1)(F) defines as the minimum reasonable period of time for Defendant to respond, Plaintiff shall attempt to serve Defendant on or before February 20, 2023. If and when Plaintiff successfully serves Defendant, Plaintiff may file a pre-motion letter that complies with Section IV.A of the Court's Individual Practices requesting permission to move to impose on Defendant the expenses and attorney's fees permitted by Rule 4(d)(2) related to a defendant's failure to waive service. Plaintiff is hereby warned that failure to complete service on Defendant within the time allowed by Rule 4(m) shall result in dismissal of her claims unless Plaintiff demonstrates good cause for an extension.
