Filing 7 RESPONSE TO ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE by Rosalynn Bristol (Wolf, Benjamin) |
ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Federal courts may adjudicate only lawsuits that present a case or controversy. U.S. Const. art. III, 2. And a lawsuit presents a case or controversy only if the plaintiff has standing to pursue the grievance she presents. TransUnion LLC v. Ramirez, 141 S. Ct. 2190, 2205 (2021). To have standing, a plaintiff must have suffered an injury in fact that is concrete, particularized, and actual or imminent, that was likely caused by the defendant, and that would likely be redressed by judicial relief. Id. at 2203 (citing Lujan v. Defs. of Wildlife, 504 U.S. 555, 560561 (1992)). By 3/23/2023, plaintiff shall show cause why she has standing to bring this action. Ordered by Judge Rachel P.
