ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. When asked in Question 2(a) of the civil cover sheet for this case whether "the events or omissions giving rise to the claim or claims, or a substantial part thereof, occur[red] in Nassau or Suffolk County," defendant answered "no" even though the complaint makes it clear that plaintiff tripped and fell in Valley Stream. Defendant is therefore ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE by 4/25/2023 why sanctions should not be imposed on it or its counsel for making a false statement to the Court, and why the case should not be reassigned to a judge in the Central Islip courthouse.
