ORDER granting in part #6 Motion to Adjourn Conference. Initial Status Conference adjourned to 11/3/2023 at 10:00 am. This is plenty of time for defendants' to undertake the computer retrieval task necessary to ascertain the status of this case. In fact, it could be done in 24 hours if they wanted to. "Sending the relevant documents to China," to the extent it implies that defendants are using an airplane or a slow boat to the Court, is a misleading description of how these cases have always proceeded before this Court. Moreover, the Court has not shortened defendants' time to answer. Indeed, they can have another 60 days beyond the 60 days allowed in Rule 12(a)(2) if they want as long as they comply with this Court's order for a status report.
