March 1, 2024 Opinion or Order SCHEDULING ORDER: Counsel for all parties are directed to appear for an in-person status conference on 5/21/2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 11-D South before Magistrate Judge James R. Cho. Plaintiff's counsel is directed to notify all attorneys in this action of the conference schedule. At least 24 hours prior to the status conference, the Government must file a brief letter advising the Court whether the status of the case has changed since the filing of the complaint. The parties need not submit a proposed discovery plan in advance of the status conference. The parties are encouraged to consent to the Magistrate Judge to conduct all proceedings in this action. #MJ Consent Form. Any party may withhold its consent without adverse substantive consequences. See Dkt. #3 . Absent consent of all the parties to proceed before the Magistrate Judge, if defendant anticipates filing a dispositive motion in response to the complaint, defendant must file a letter no longer than one page expressing its intent to file such a Motion.
