Filing 9 SCHEDULING ORDER: The Court construes the reply filed at #8 to be an Answer by the individual defendant to the Complaint. The Court vacates its #5 Scheduling Order and will hold an Initial Conference on May 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. before Peggy Kuo, United States Magistrate Judge in Courtroom 11C South of the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, New York. Counsel with knowledge and authority for all represented parties must attend. Per diem counsel may not appear without prior permission of the Court. For any party not represented by counsel, that party must attend. Defendant Olusegun Oloniju may proceed in this case pro se, without a lawyer. However, the corporate Defendant may only appear through licensed counsel. See Rowland v. California Mens Colony, 506 U.S. 194, 201-02 (1993).The parties are directed to discuss the attached Proposed Discovery Plan, in advance of the conference. Any request for adjournment of this or any other conference must be made in writing, must notify the opposing parties, and must disclose whether or not all parties consent to the request. No request for adjournment will be considered unless made at least two (2) business days before the scheduled conference, except in the event of an emergency. Plaintiff is directed to send a copy of this Order to defendants and file proof of service by April 12, 2024.
