Filing 123 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER granting 115 Motion for Judgment as a Matter of Law; granting 115 Motion for New Trial; For the foregoing reasons, the Armor Defendants' motion for judgment as a matter of law, or in the alternative, for a new trial (Docket Entry 115) is GRANTED. The Court GRANTS the Armor Defendants judgment as a matter of law on the Section 1983 deliberate indifference claim and VACATES the jury's compensatory damages award of $520,000 and punitive damages award of & #036;7,000,000 on that claim. Additionally, the Court finds that a new trial is required on the negligence claim and VACATES the jury's award of $370,000 in compensatory damages for negligence.
