| Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis: Pre-Motion Conference held on 9/5/2019. Counsel for all parties present. The court GRANTED Plaintiffs leave to file a motion to remand this action and established the following briefing schedule: Plaintiffs shall serve their motion by no later than September 13, 2019; Defendant shall serve his opposition by no later than September 20, 2019; if, after reviewing Defendant's opposition, Plaintiffs wish to file a reply, they may seek leave to do so. The court SUSPENDED all further deadlines, motion practice, and proceedings in this action, including the Rule 16 conference scheduled for September 9, 2019 before Magistrate Judge Vera Scanlon, pending a decision on Plaintiffs' anticipated motion to remand. If the court does not remand this action, the parties are DIRECTED to confer and submit a proposed briefing schedule for Defendant's anticipated motion to dismiss and Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction. It has come to the court's attention that the individual who purported to appear on behalf of Plaintiffs at the pre-motion conference held yesterday, August 29, 2019, has not filed an appearance in this action.
