ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE. In light of the Court's obligation to examine its subject matter jurisdiction sua sponte, the LLC party is directed to file a letter within one week from the date of this Order setting forth the citizenship of each of their members, as limited liability companies take the citizenship of each of their members. See Bayerische Landesbank, New York Branch v. Aladdin Capital Management LLC, 692 F.3d 42, 49 (2d Cir. 2012).Furthermore, given the face of the amended complaint alleges damages of $119,217.93, plaintiff is directed to inform the court why, consistent with Eastern District of New Yorks Local Civil Rule 83.7(d), counsel failed to indicate that damages sought are less than $150,000, as required by the cover sheet.
