September 23, 2022 Opinion or Order ORDER DISMISSING CASE: Plaintiff seeks leave to proceed in forma pauperis ("IFP"). (ECF No. #2 .) On July 28, 2022, the Court alerted Plaintiff to deficiencies in his IFP application and that he needed to complete and file the Prisoner Litigation Authorization Form ("PLRA"). (ECF No. #3 .) Plaintiff was directed to correct the deficiencies in his IFP application and submit the PLRA within fourteen days. On September 6, 2022, after Plaintiff failed to respond, the Court ordered Plaintiff "to file a signed application to proceed in forma pauperis (or remit the $402 filing fee) and the Prisoner Litigation Authorization Form ("PLRA") by September 20, 2022." (See Electronic Order dated Sept. 6, 2022.) The Court cautioned Plaintiff "that a failure to timely comply with this Order absent a showing of good cause will lead to the dismissal of his complaint without prejudice without further notice, judgment shall enter and this case will be closed." (Id.) On September 15, 2022, Plaintiff filed a second IFP application. (ECF No. #7 .) However, the application was again not signed and Plaintiff again failed to include the PLRA. The deadline to comply with the Court's September 6 Order has passed. Accordingly, the complaint is dismissed without prejudice. The Clerk of the Court shall mail a copy of this Electronic Order to the Plaintiff at his address of record with the notation "Legal Mail" on the envelope and shall record such service on the docket. The Court certifies pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(3) that any appeal from this Order would not be taken in good faith and therefore IFP status is denied for the purpose of any appeal. See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 444-45 (1962). Ordered by Judge Joan M. Azrack on 9/23/2022. (Patterson, Samuel)
