March 1, 2023 Filing 9 Minute Order for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge James M. Wicks: CIVIL CAUSE FOR INITIAL CONFERENCE. Counsel for Plaintiff: Omar Alem, Meir Moza. Counsel for Defendant: Mitchell B. Levine. Initial Conference Hearing held on 3/1/2023 at 10:00 AM. Following discussion with counsel and review of the submitted worksheet, the Court adopted a Scheduling Order which is attached at DE #10 . Discussion was held regarding Plaintiff's desire to amend the complaint to add additional defendants. Counsel for Plaintiff shall submit a draft of the proposed amended complaint to Counsel for Defendant for review on or before March 31, 2023. Counsel for Defendant shall notify Plaintiff on or before April 7, 2023 whether they will stipulate to the proposed amended complaint. If the parties so agree, the parties should file a stipulation as to the amended complaint. The parties discussed an interest in possibly consenting to the undersigned for all purposes. To the extent the parties desire to do so, the form found at DE #5 should be completed and filed. You may withhold your consent without adverse substantive consequences. A Status Conference has been scheduled for August 7, 2023 at 9:30 AM via the Court's Video Zoom. The Court will email the Zoom invitation closer to the conference date. A Final Pretrial Conference has been scheduled for January 29, 2024 at 9:30 AM via the Court's Video Zoom. The Court will email the Zoom invitation closer to the conference date. If Judge Eric R. Komitee requires one, a joint proposed pretrial order in compliance with Judge Komitee's requirements and signed by counsel for each party must be received by the undersigned 5 business days prior to this conference. THE PARTIES ARE REMINDED that audio or video recording of proceedings by any party other than the Court is strictly prohibited by Local Civil Rule 1.8. Violation of this rule may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed appropriate by the Court.
