ORDER granting #11 Plaintiff's Motion for Extension of Time to File -- Plaintiff's untimely and noncompliant request for an extension of the deadline in which to respond to Defendants' motion to dismiss the complaint is granted, albeit reluctantly. The motion was filed after the close of business on the Friday (9/29/23) before a Monday deadline (10/2/23). This Court's individual rules require that any motion for the extension of a deadline must be made at least three business days prior to the deadline. The parties must not assume that the Court will be able to address such untimely requests and, if no order on the request is forthcoming, the parties must assume that the original deadline remains in effect. Nonetheless, the request for the extension until October 9, 2023 is granted as is the request for the extension of Defendants' reply to October 23, 2023. The parties are reminded that they must provide to chambers one hard courtesy copies of their filings immediately upon filing. SO ORDERED by Judge Dora Lizette Irizarry on 9/30/2023. (Irizarry, Dora)
