Associated Press v. United States Department of Defense
Plaintiff Associated Press brought an action under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to compel access to records pertaining to the detention of hundreds of persons at the U.S. Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. AP seeks access to documents sufficient to identify all past and present detainees held at Guantanamo.
