Petitioner claims that his guilty plea is invalid due to ineffectiv e assistance of counsel. For the reasons set forth below, the petition is DENIED. For the foregoing reasons, Petitioner Ellington's motion is DENIED. A certificate of appealability will not issue because Petitioner has failed to make a substantial showing of the denial of a federal right.
