Filing 7 ORDER re 5 Motion. Given the posture of the parties, there is not need for a pre-motion conference and no need for further submissions regarding change of venue. The court construes Gregory's PMC request as motion to change venue, and the City's letter as consent to the motion. The motion is accordingly GRANTED. Because the parties agree that this case has no connection to the Eastern District of New York and a strong connection to the Southern District of New York, the court finds it in the interest of justice to transfer this case to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. See 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). So Ordered by Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis on 12/23/2011. (Lee, Tiffeny)[Transferred from New York Eastern on 12/29/2011.] |
