Filing 60 OPINION AND ORDER re: 51 FIRST MOTION for Attorney Fees filed by New York City District Council of Carpenters Charity Fund, The New York City and Vicinity Carpenters Labor-Management Corporation, New York City District Counc il of Carpenters Welfare Fund, The New York City District Council Carpenters Pension Fund, New York City District Council of Carpenters Apprenticeship, Journeyman Retraining, Educational and Industry Fund, New York City District Council of C arpenters Annuity Fund: For the foregoing reasons, the Court GRANTS in part Respondents' request for attorneys' fees. From the requested fees figure of $62,615.00, the Court deducts $1,525.00 for time billed in relation to the t wo settlement conferences and $2,000.00 for time billed in connection with the instant application for the attorneys' fees. From the new total of $59,090.00, the Court imposes an across-the-board reduction of 15% ($8,863. 50) for Respondents' duplicate entries and instances of "block billing." Adding in $1,458.33 for allowable costs, Respondents are entitled to attorneys' fees and costs in the amount of $51,684.83. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to terminate the motions pending at docket entries 19 and 28. It is further ORDERED that, by no later than July 30, 2014, Respondents shall submit a fee application to the Court, including a sworn declaration providing each attorney's background, experience, and billing rate at the time the work was expended, as well as copies of the attorneys' time sheets. Petitioner may submit papers opposing the amount of fees requested, but not the imposition of fees themselves, by no later than August 27, 2014.
