June 17, 2014	Filing 16 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER re: 6 MOTION to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction filed by The State of Israel. The issue in this case is not whether Israel should pay its fair share for Plaintiff's efforts to secure and improve the Haring Street Property-efforts that appear to have benefitted Israel as much as they benefitted Plaintiff. Instead, the issue is whether the Court has jurisdiction to even reach the merits. For the reasons discussed above, the Court is compelled to conclude that it does not because, under the plain language of the FSIA, Israel is immune from suit in this Court. Accordingly, Defendant's motion to dismiss is GRANTED, and the case is dismissed. The Clerk of Court is directed to terminate Docket No. 6 and to close the case. (Signed by Judge Jesse M. Filing 16 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER re: 6 MOTION to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction filed by The State of Israel.
