Filing 75 OPINION AND ORDER. For the reasons stated above, Huawei's motion to stay this enforcement proceeding is granted, and the motion to confirm the Award is stayed. To the extent not specifically addressed above, the parties' arguments are eithe r moot or without merit. The parties are directed to provide this Court with letter briefs by February 29, 2016, addressing the issue of the amount and type of security. Responsive briefs may be filed by March 4, 2016. The stay is subject to revision should circumstances change. InterDigital can renew its petition for an order confirming the Award after the outcome of the French proceedings is determined. The Clerk is directed to close all pending motions. So ordered. (Signed by Judge John G. Koeltl on 2/17/2016) (rjm) |
Filing 72 MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER. On February 11, 2016, the parties jointly moved for an order sealing the courtroom during an upcoming oral argument to be held on February 16, 2016. The argument concerns whether an arbitration award should be enforced o r whether the proceeding should be stayed pending a decision of another related proceeding in Paris. The parties' joint request is denied without prejudice to the parties making a particularized showing with respect to any particular information. So ordered. (Signed by Judge John G. Koeltl on 2/11/2016) (rjm) |
