For the reasons stated above, Defendant's motion is granted as to Plaintiffs federal claims and the Court declines jurisdiction as t o Plaintiffs remaining state-law claims. The case is dismissed without prejudice and Jones is granted leave to amend the complaint to correct the deficiencies noted in this memorandum opinion, so long as his amendments are made in good faith. Pla intiff shall file his first amended complaint no later than April 9, 2018. If Plaintiff fails to do so by that time, this case will be dismissed for failure to prosecute under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to terminate the motion pending at Dkt. 11, and as further set forth in this order.
