Filing 19 ORDER: Before the Court is a proposed final judgment in this action, to which Yan has consented. (See Mtn., Ex. 1 (Dkt. No. 17-1) at 7-12) Under SEC v. Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., 752 F.3d 285 (2d Cir. 2014), before approving a consent judgment , this Court must find that it is "fair and reasonable" and that the "public interest would not be disserved." Id. at 294. Here, this Court finds that the proposed judgment is lawful, in that "it is within the Court' s authority to enter the decree and within the Plaintiff's authority to enforce it." (As further set forth in this Order.) For the reasons stated above, this Court approves the proposed consent judgment. (Signed by Judge Paul G. Gardephe on 7/11/2018) (cf) |
