National Fair Housing Alliance et al v. Facebook, Inc. Featured Case

The National Fair Housing Alliance filed a lawsuit against Facebook for allegedly allowing landlords and real estate brokers to discriminate against families with children, women and others in housing advertisement on the social networking platform. According to the complaint, the way Facebook allows housing advertisers to target (and avoid) certain groups of users is tantamount to facilitating illegal housing discrimination. Among the groups allegedly affected are women, disabled veterans, and single mothers.
