ORDER. As the purported ground for subject matter jurisdiction, plaintiff Marcello Porcelli invokes diversity of citizenship under 28 U.S.C. 1332. The plaintiff alleges that he "is an individual working in New York, New York with a residence New York [sic] as well." (Complaint; Doc. 6 paragraph 3.) The plaintiff does not allege his citizenship, i.e. domicile. By January 11, 2019, plaintiff shall amend his complaint to meet the requirements of 28 U.S.C. 1332 and Rule 8(a), Fed. R. Civ. P. If plaintiff fails to amend by the foregoing date to truthfully allege a proper basis for subject matter jurisdiction by reason of diversity of citizenship, then the complaint will be dismissed.
