On May 14, 2020 at 2:30 p.m, Plaintiff shall show cause why her Complaint should not be dismissed for failure to assert a claim for which relief can be granted (and for lack of subject matter jurisdiction where applicable) for the following reasons as further specified in this Order regarding 42 U.S.C. 1983, 42 U.S.C 2000ee-1(e) and Federal Tort Claims Act. The show cause hearing will take place by telephone. Participants shall call in to the following number: 888-398-2342, using the following conference identification number: 9543348#. If Plaintiff wishes to file a brief regarding the matter, she shall file a brief of no more than 10 pages seven calendar days before the hearing date. SO ORDERED. ORDER. Plaintiff has filed a motion for default judgment. (Dkt. 15.) The motion is defective. Prior to filing a motion for default judgment, a Plaintiff must file a proposed Certificate of Default for approval and entry by the Clerk of Court, and as further set forth in this Order. Accordingly, the motion for default judgment is DENIED without prejudice. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed not to enter a Certificate of Default unless and until a proper request is made and Plaintiff has completed service.
