April 9, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 10 CIVIL CASE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND SCHEDULING ORDER: All parties do not to conducting all further proceedings before a United States Magistrate Judge, including motions and trial.28 U.S.C. 636(c). All fact discovery shall be completed no later than 8/6/2021. Depositions shall be completed by 6/30/2021. The parties shall be ready for trial on two weeks after SJ decision. This case is to be tried to a jury. Counsel for the parties have conferred and their present best estimate of the length of trial is 3-4 days. The initial pretrial conference scheduled for April 13, 2021, is canceled, and the parties' proposed schedule is hereby approved and so ordered. Counsel for the parties shall file a joint status letter on or before August 13, 2021 (1) confirming that discovery has been completed, (2) addressing whether the parties wish to be referred for a settlement conference with the designated magistrate judge or the Court's mediation program. If the parties need additional time to complete discovery, they must request an extension in advance of the August 6, 2021 deadline. (As further set forth in this Order.) Deposition due by 6/30/2021.
