Filing 3 LETTER from R. Lurch Jr. dated 12/6/21 re: "LETTER IN SUPPORT OF COMPLAINT" - I would like the Court to be aware of the following information that pertains to my Complaint: On 12/1/21, I was made aware by Sergeant Charlton that Atlantic County does not consider Staff-Inmate Assaults as a grievable issue, and instead it is handled through investigations. Also, on 12/1/21, I was made aware by Lt. Bennett that there is no mandatory 72-hour water shutoff for anyone in custody who floods their cell etc. I wrote the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office today to file charges against Sergeant Shurig. However, I do not even know if they are going to respond. Document filed by Robert Derek Lurch.(sc) |
Filing 2 TRANSFER ORDER: The Clerk of Court is directed to transfer this action to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Whether Plaintiff should be permitted to proceed further without prepayment of fees is a determination to be made by the transferee court. A summons shall not issue from this Court. This order closes this case. The Court certifies, pursuant to 28 U.S.C 1915(a)(3), that any appeal from this order would not be taken in good faith, and therefore in forma pauperis status is denied for the purpose of an appeal. See Coppedge v. United States, 369 U.S. 438, 444-45 (1962). The Clerk of Court is directed to mail a copy of this order to Plaintiff and note service on the docket. SO ORDERED.
