ORDER denying as moot #8 Letter Motion for Extension of Time to Answer re #8 LETTER MOTION for Extension of Time to File Answer re: #1 Complaint addressed to Judge Valerie E. Caproni from Samuel B. Hartzell dated August 26, 2022., #1 Complaint. Application DENIED as moot. Defendant's deadline to answer, move, or otherwise respond to the Complaint is December 2, 2022, the date of the initial pretrial conference. See Order, Dkt. 6 (using bold font). The Court encourages Defense Counsel to read all court orders and rules more carefully. The Court has previously warned Plaintiff's Counsel "who has appeared before the Undersigned in dozens of website ADA cases and is therefore very familiar with the Court's orders and practices" against agreeing "to needless, moot requests to answer deadlines by Defense Counsel." Young v. The Brooklyn Academy of Music, Inc., No. 22-cv-1723, Dkt. 11. The Court has also warned Plaintiff's Counsel that consenting to additional moot requests to adjourn answer deadlines "may result in sanctions." Id. By no later than Friday, September 2, 2022, Plaintiff's Counsel must show cause as to why they should not be sanctioned for agreeing to an unnecessary extension of time. SO ORDERED.
