ORDER granting in part and denying in part #9 Letter Motion for Extension of Time to Answer addressed to Judge Vernon S. Broderick from Thomas Lindeman dated December 6, 2022. I am in receipt of Defendant's Motion for Extension of Time to File Answer, (Doc. 9), and Plaintiffs response, (Doc. 10), filed on December 6, 2022. Defendants answer is currently due December 7, 2022. That deadline is hereby extended sixty (60) days to February 5, 2023. In the future, the parties will be expected to abide by Rule 1(G) of my Individual Rules & Practices in Civil Cases concerning requests for adjournments or extensions of time, which requires, among other things, that any extension request be made at least 48 hours in advance.
