The deadline for Plaintiff Laura Jones and Defendants Fund for the City of New York, Inc.; Foundation for Court Innovation Inc.; Julie Taylor; James Reddick; and Mark Gould to exchange their S.D.N.Y. Pilot Protocols is extended, nunc pro tunc, to June 8, 2023. Separately, the Court calls the parties' attention to the following discrepancies on the docket requiring clarification: In the instant letter and the joint letter to the Court (ECF No. 36), Defendants represent that the Complaint erroneously identifies one of the Defendants as "Foundation for Court Innovation Inc.," rather than by its purportedly correct name, "Center for Justice Innovation Inc. d/b/a Center for Court Innovation." See p. 1; see also ECF No. 36 at 1. In other filings, however, Defendants represent that the correct name for this entity is "Justice Innovation Inc. [i.e., sans 'Center'] d/b/a Center for Court Innovation." See, e.g., ECF Nos. 25, 26, 40. The docket indicates that appearances have been entered on behalf of Defendant "Fund for the City of New York, Inc.," but not for the nearly identically named Defendant "Fund for the City of New York." In view of the foregoing, by May 17, 2023, Defendants' attorneys are directed to file a letter identifying (i) each Defendant in this action by its correct name, and (ii) all attorneys who have entered appearances on behalf of each Defendant. Additionally, to the extent that Defendants believe there are any redundancies on the docket (e.g., the inclusion of both "Fund for the City of New York, Inc." and "Fund for the City of New York" as Defendants), they shall so note. To be clear, this is not an opportunity for any Defendant to opine on the propriety of having been named a party to this action; it is solely intended to elucidate the issues on the docket in need of correction.
