Filing 9 TEXT ORDER: On December 2, 2019, this Court granted the request of the pro se plaintiff, Versel Green, to proceed in forma pauperis but ordered that he "file an amended complaint within 30 days... in which he... provides an address where each defendant may be served." Docket Item 4 at 2. The Court also denied Green's request for the appointment of counsel as premature. Id. at 2-3. Green subsequently has requested--and this Court has granted--two extensions of time to amend his complaint. See Docket Items 5-8. In late February 2020, Green renewed his request for the assignment of counsel. Although that request is denied for the same reasons stated in this Court's December 2, 2019 order, the Court will further extend Green's time to amend his complaint--which, as noted above, requires only that he provides addresses at which the Marshals may serve the named defendants. Green shall have until May 1, 2020, to amend his complaint. SO ORDERED. Issued by Hon. Lawrence J. Vilardo on 3/6/2020. (Chambers mailed a copy of this order to the pro se plaintiff, Versel Green, on 3/6/20).(CEH) |
