Filing 4 TEXT ORDER. On 11/24/2023, plaintiff John Doe filed a complaint (Dkt. 1) and motion to proceed by pseudonym (Dkt. 3). The Court must be afforded [John Doe's] true name under seal. See Doe v. Mass. Institute of Tech., 46 F.4th 61, 77 (1st Cir. 2022); see also Publicola v. Lomenzo, 54 F.4th 108, 112 (2d Cir. 2022) (noting that complete anonymity may prevent a court from "fulfill[ing] its statutory obligations to check for conflicts of interest"). Therefore, plaintiff John Doe shall provide their identity to the Court, under seal, by 2/19/2024.
