Filing fee: $405.00, receipt number 100003804 (SG) |
Filing 4 TEXT ORDER denying #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis as incomplete. Plaintiff indicates that she is not employed, receives government benefits in the amount of $697.00, and does not receive any support or assistance from other sources. Plaintiff lives alone and does not have any dependents. She estimates her monthly expenses to be $909.00 and that she supports herself with the assistance she receives. However, only a portion of plaintiff's expenses is covered by the government benefits she receives, and it is not clear what additional sources of income she uses to support herself. Based on the lack of sufficient information, the Court cannot determine whether plaintiff has set forth sufficient indications of indigency, thus, plaintiff's in forma pauperis motion is DENIED. Plaintiff has until March 6, 2024, to (1) re-file his application using the Court's standard form with all of the relevant information included, or (2) pay the $405.00 filing fee. If plaintiff has not complied with either of these options by March 6, 2024, the Clerk of Court is directed to dismiss this case without prejudice and without further order. Signed by Hon. Elizabeth A. Wolford on 2/5/24. (NNR)Clerk to Follow up |
