June 13, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 106 MEMORANDUM OPINION: Following a five-day bench trial in which the Court observed all of the testimony and evidence presented in this case, the Court concludes that Plaintiff has not proven by a preponderance of the evidence that Chattem terminated his employment for refusing to participate in, or remain silent about, illegal activities. Therefore, Plaintiff has not prevailed in his claim under the Tennessee Public Protection Act, Tenn. Code Ann. § 50-1-304. Judgment will be entered in favor of Defendant Chattem.
