Filing 119 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER: Defendants' joint motion for summary judgment [D. 72] is GRANTED in part and DENIED in part as set forth more fully herein. Because all claims against Jefferson County, Tennessee, have been dismissed, Jeff erson County is hereby DISMISSED as a defendant in this case. Because all claims against Ryan Payne, Brian Shults, and Brandon White have been dismissed, Payne, Shults, and White are hereby DISMISSED as defendants in this case. Further, the trial dat e set for November 19, 2019 is CANCELLED and this case is STAYED in its entirety pending further order of the Court. The parties are ORDERED to schedule mediation within 45 days. The parties are further ORDERED to file a joint status report regardin g the outcome of mediation within ten days of the date of the mediation. Should mediation fail to bring about a resolution, Rodriguez may proceed to trial on his § 1983 excessive-force claims, assault claims, and battery claims against Eddie Mafnas.
