April 3, 2018	Filing 5 MEMORANDUM AND OPINION finding that Plaintiffs 4 motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis will be GRANTED. However, for the reasons set forth below, no process shall issue, and this action will be DISMISSED for failure to sta te a claim upon which relief may be granted under § 1983. Because Plaintiff is an inmate at the Knox County Detention Facility, he is herewith ASSESSED the civil filing fee of $350.00. The Clerk is DIRECTED to send a copy of this Memorand um and Order to the Warden of the Knox County Detention Facility, the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Correction, and the Attorney General for the State of Tennessee to ensure that the custodian of Plaintiffs inmate trust account complies with the portion of the Prison Litigation Reform Act relating to payment of the filing fee. The Clerk is further DIRECTED to forward a copyof this Memorandum and Order to the Courts financial deputy. Signed by Chief District Judge Thomas A Varlan on 4/3/2018. Clerk performed service as directed by this Order as well as sent a copy of this M&O to Jeremy Morgan.(MDG)
